About Me

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my website! I am Sonica Jackson and I’m a writer that likes to write, talk smack from time to time, and just live life. I wanna thank each and every one of you for visiting and subscribing to my website. It truly means a lot. For those of you that are “newbies” to my site, I want to inform you that I talk about everything. I’m not a genre writer. Whatever is on my mind for that particular day, I will express my thoughts about it. Simple as that. Some of you may not necessarily agree with everything that I talk about but I am definitely open to hearing from people who may have a different view to certain things that I speak upon. So with that being said, your feedback is definitely welcomed. All I ask is that you be respectful when you come to my page (no name-calling and derogatory comments). We don’t have to agree on everything but we can still respect each other.

If you have already taken a look at some of the things that I talk about, you’ll see that I’ve added a disclaimer at the end of my posts which reads: “The views and opinions expressed here on my website are solely those of myself and do not in any way represent the views and opinions of WordPress or anyone else.”  This simply means that if you are the overly sensitive type that thinks that EVERYTHING needs to be politically correct, don’t go blaming Word Press, publishers, agents, the police, my parents, your parents, farm animals, drag queens, your pastor, your mechanic, the dude/woman that broke your heart, or anyone else for the views that I express. I’m a fully grown woman that say what I say because I’m being myself.

My dream/goal is not only to be a best-selling author but to also encourage others to think outside of the box, triangle, and circle so that they can live the life that they always wanted. Let me be the first to say that I am not perfect under any stretch of the imagination; I have experienced failure several times and there have been times when I have even doubted myself and even went thru a moment of depression. But no matter how many times I got knocked down and wanted to quit, I still had that very small amount of strength that made me get out of bed and keep trying. So I can only hope that my experiences will help someone to keep on keepin’ on, no matter what they face. In a nutshell, I look forward to the day when I’m able to live my dream and show others how to live theirs. It’s no fun to reach for the top and not bring people with you that have the same drive that you have.
